    19. I have a lemon tree in my back yard and I dehydrate the rind, grind it up fine and make vitamin C gel capsules out of it.

    20. lemon rinds are high in oxalates that can cause problems for a person with gout…..where as the lemon juice is alkalizing

    28. Valarie Gargano, to my knowledge they are not usda certified organic, but are actually grown at an even higher standard than that. Many of our oils are Kosher certified. There are no pesticides, herbicides, or any harmful chemicals or planting/harvesting methods used. So yes, they are better than “organic”, but without the costly label attached.

    29. Only eat the peel if it is organic. Otherwise you’ll be ingesting bug poison that has permeated the peel and won’t was off.
