    Homemade organic butter


    • Four cups of organic heavy cream
    • Sea salt to taste


    1. Pour the heavy cream into a food processor and turn on for ten minutes. Keep processing the cream until you notice it turning grainy, this is the cream separating.
    2. Strain well
    3. Scrape the sides of the processor and put the butter into a clean bowl.
    4. Rinse the butter with cold water; turn the bowl while the water runs over. Rinse until the water runs clear.
    5. Once the water has run clear, squeeze the excess liquid using a wooden spoon.
    6. Put the butter into a jar or bowl and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
